4. Time Organizing: The most critical and often overlooked fundamental. Especially for the small self employed business owner. Knowing how to organize your time gives you the ability to run your business and maximize your profits with less effort and time.

5. Well Organized: Use systems to provide consistency in marketing,provide top quality service, client follow up, tracking expenses and earnings and maintaining required record keeping.

6. Business and Marketing Plan: So many of my clients ask for help because their business isn't working. They never took the time to develop a comprehensive business and marketing plan. Your business plan tells you where you are going, how to get there and will keep you on track.

7. Prepare: Successful business investigate and stay aware of the laws and regulations effecting small self employed business owners both online and offline. It's advisable to hire somebody to see that you are compliant in all areas of your business

8. Integrity: Build your business on sound values, principles and ethics. Put it in writing. Make decisions easier and improve business performance. Stay responsible to commitments made to your customers and employees.

9. Person of Action: Taking action to do what you have to do even when you don't want to do it. Action produces results. Perfectionism and procrastination destroys the success of any business. In the words of Nike... Just Do It.

10. Teachable: A wise entrepreneur receives free and paid advice from other people. Using other peoples knowledge will make your business successful in less time. You cannot do it alone.
